The Preservation Roundtable will meet at 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 1 in the conference room at Tampa Union Station. All are welcome to attend to discuss preservation issues affecting Tampa.
Our March 2 Preservation Roundtable will be an hour walking tour of Tampa Heights led by Mary MacCahon. Everyone will meet at 9am at the Tampa Heights Community Garden at 902 Frances Street, south of Columbus Blvd and adjacent to the Interstate. We’ll walk from there. If folks can stay later, at 10:15 Dominique Martinez will give a tour of his renovated fire house on Florida Avenue.
Since 1982, Tampa Preservation, Inc. has been recognizing significant contributions to the preservation of Tampa’s historic resources through our Annual Award Program. TPI invites members of the community to submit nominations for outstanding historic preservation projects, programs and achievements by individuals and organizations. Nominations are due September 15, 2014 and may be mailed or emailed in.

The winners will be announced during an a Historic Preservation Awards Ceremony in October. The 2013 awards will also be presented at that time.
