On Sunday, October 29 from 12noon – 4pm, the V.M. Ybor Neighborhood Association will host its Seventh Home Tour. The V.M. Ybor neighborhood was named for Vicente Martinez Ybor, the Spanish founder of Ybor City’s Cigar Industry. A true gem tucked just north of Ybor City and minutes from downtown Tampa.
This “not so typical” home tour features the eclectic, diverse and historic V.M. Ybor community. The event features 8 unique homes, Cuscaden Pool, and a mural-filled Service Station turned live-work space. While many homes have been restored or remodeled, they all still contain original elements that characterize the community. The self-guided tour will begin from Cuscaden Pool (2900 N. 15th Street), where guests will receive neighborhood maps and information on each of the featured properties.
